From The Principal’s desk

I am delighted to share with you details of our Founders’ Day Spring Fair 2019. As in previous years, there will be showcases of students’ work, songs and dances from our talented performers, and our unique international flag ceremony which unites our pupils in a truly special moment.

The theme for this year’s fair is One World, One School. There is entertainment planned for every age group with fair rides, entertainers, market stalls and food trucks, a basketball shootout, a lumo disco, a bar, and much, much more…. The Spring Fair is the perfect evening to connect with your friends, enjoy family fun, and take pride in our very special ISCT community.

Thank you to all the parents who have donated time and energy to the stalls, raffles and organisation of the event so far. Donations from our Event Sponsors have enabled us to elevate the fair to a new level. ISCT is proud to be part of such a generous community.

The Spring Fair exists as a fundraising event, with the astro turf at Woodland Heights and the STEAM centre at Struben House as our current goals. For the first time, we will be selling tickets to the Fair offering Full Access to all the entertainment. Access to the school exhibits will remain free. Proceeds from our well-supported raffles will also directly benefit the funds.

Free-WiFi will be available all evening.  Market vendors, food trucks and the Year 11 High School stall will use SnapScan payment.  The Year 8 Market Day stalls will accept cash.  The programme of events, as well as the WiFi login will be available by scanning unique QR codes.  A blog is starting this week to share videos, images and links with you.

Please join me on Friday 25th October, 4-10pm, as every student, staff, parent and friend of ISCT is invited to celebrate our wonderful school, recognise our Founders and support the future of our children.
