Plan your evening: Programme of events

The full programme of events is online here:  programme.

Arrive at 4pm (in an Uber) to browse the showcase of students’ work, compete in the sporting events and go crazy at Carnival Street.   Look out for clowns, magicians, jugglers and stilt walkers.  Get your face painted or your body glitter-tattoo’d – all included with the Child Full Access Ticket!

Head to the middle tier by 5.30pm for the Procession of Nations – our unique flag ceremony that celebrates the amazing diversity of ISCT and unites our international and South African students.  ISCT really is One World One School.

From 6.15pm, enjoy the talented performances by KS1, KS2 and HS students, while shopping at the Street Market, the Year 8 market and the KS1 World of Sweets for gifts.

The Grand Raffle and Treasure Chest raffle prizes will be drawn all evening.  Be sure to drop your ticket stubs into the large barrels, and keep your ears open!  Our celebrity MC, Jeanne Michel will be mingling with the crowds and drawing prizes.

Plan a time to eat and drink.  Buy food from the food trucks parked in front of Woodland Heights, or support the Year 11 braai on the middle tier.  The food trucks can cater for vegetarian, Halaal and gluten-free diets.  The Tasting Rooms will be open all evening for Adult Full Access Ticket holders, plus a bar and soft drink stalls.  Read more about the Adult ticket here.

As it grows dark, the Lumo Disco will light up, and there will be showings of the Year 9 video in the IT lab (age restricted access).

Founders’ Day Spring Fair 2019 promises to be a fun-filled evening for everyone!  Please visit our sponsors and thank them for becoming part of our ISCT community and for enabling us to take this year’s fair to a whole new level!

Please use Uber or other taxi services, to avoid parking congestion and ensure a safe journey home.
